Frozen...discomfort from bra strap

Do any of you experience horrible achyness (is that even a word?) from your bra strap on your shoulder?  It's the first thing I take off when I get home.  And today, I'm so sore on my shoulder, I'm not even wearing one at all.

Oh Julie's I feel for you. I had fs from September 2014 until november 2015 (would have been longer but I had an accident and suffered an ac dislocation, I do not recommend as a cure but that's another story) and I spent 7 months of that totally unable to wear a bra due to both the pain and the fact that it was almost impossible to put on with such limited movement and trust me husbands are hopeless in these matters 😋. Sod what people might think there is no point in suffering just because you worry what others might think or say. Baggy T shirts are a godsend. Look after yourself. Xxx

Yep know the feeling, i hve to wear one as i'm still working full time and my job involves visiting Businesse's (plus im a 36DD)  first thing that comes off though with the help of my amazing 8 year old daughter who is becoming my little care bear.....

I had rotator cuff surgery in October. I couldn't wear my bra for about three months. Finally I can wear it. It is not too bed now.

I feel for you!  Thank goodness I don't have to interact with people for my job.

I wish i didn't..would love to come to work in jeans and baggy top, as it is i'm popped up to the eyes on Zapain and have to constantly buy new sticky pads for my tens machine as its on and off throughout the day god knows how many times, but surgeon  appointment in 5 weeks so under the knife i will go again for the third time in 1 year.

Oh yer... And I find that my bra strap falls off on my frozen side as I believe I hold myself at a funny angle in order to deal with the discomfort 😳😁😤

Yes, cindy my bra strap always fall down because of my sloping shoulder..ugh!

Hello Jules,

I known exactly what you're feeling.  Just the mere thought of putting on my bra on in the morning could bring me to my knees.  I even resorted to wearing it all night just to not have to take if off or put it back on.  On weekends, I couldn't wait to go bra-less!

Oh yes jules. I can certainly identify with this. I got a vest with hidden support and it was much better. I also wore scarves to hide any saggy bits!!! Comfort is everything. Mind yourself X .

Hi there I have had this vile condition since December 2014.

the pain and rom is better a little now but haven't worn a proper bra since it began. I bought some of the wonder bras or magic bras all one piece you put over your head I put my bad arm in first and my husband bless him helps me. The straps don't hurt or fall down it works for me.

feel better soon sorry you are going through this....gentle hugs to you.

OH the awful/painful stupid bra strap... I bought a bra with hooks in the front.. that sort of helps me. I can't even reach my back to hook or unhook a bra with my FS.

PS. I am a C and it works for me just fine..

Kim - This may help

You can buy a tube of Tac Gel - I think I found mine on Amazon or eBay. Apply a smidgen to your sticky pads - to make them sticky again - one tube will last forever and your sticky pads will last ages.  Dab a bit of the gel on the end of your little finger and spread it accross the pad.

Also sometimes dampen the sticky side of the pad in the same way with water.

Frozen shoulder has so many hidden costs!

I have converted to 'front loaders' as well - I don't remember the last time I put on a back fastener, I'd have to do the 'clip at the front and swivel to the back maneuver' - which reminds me I need some sort of strapless contraption for my holidays.

"Front loaders"? LOL LOL hahahahahaha! Love it!
