Does anybody else have constant clicking in top of shoulder joint, event with the slightest body movement? I've been told that the clicking will never go away; is this true? My range of motion is improving with stretching but the never-ending clicking is enough to drive me crazy!!! Any thoughts or experience from anybody out there as to what to expect, etc., best way to make it stop.
Thank you, all!
I have the clicking noise too. Two years into FS. My understanding is it’s either the scar tissue or the instability of the shoulder joint. Not surprisingly, I have been told both by different doctors. 😁
(Have seen multiple doctors and one specialist actually admitted that they don’t know much about FS or even how to treat it, so I take most things the MD’s tells me about FS with a grain of salt. Lol)
I just don't see many comments about the annoying, constant clicking and was wondering so thank you for replying. I'm going back to doctor soon to ask about capsular release. I can't take the non-stop clicking, especially when I'm working! I'll let you know what I find out.
My shoulder would click constantly when I would rotate my wrist. This was during the onset of the painful condition. The ckicking then stopped when it froze...... if it ever does get better then maybe my ckicking will come back who knows. It does make sense what April said. The scar tissue interfering with the kpint on movement also the instabillity of the joint on movement too.
Good to hear your's stopped eventually. It's all starting to make sense. But just so annoying and painful!
thank you.
Hi Dona
Did u have a diagnosis of adhesive capsulitis ( frozen shoulder) and r I on immense pain now all the time but wise st night like mine ? I fell over 4 months ago and the pain and mobility has got worse and clicking now started particularly when I try to shrug my shoulder
Thanks lorraine
I guess I could call it a clicking noise when I used to try to move my arm about the joint. I'd probably more accurately describe it as "grinding." It sucks, so I haven't attempted to move my arm about my shoulder in several months, hoping the theory that this just needs to not be messed with all, and it'll eventually just go away. So far I'm about sixteen months into the frozen shoulder, but only about 2.5 months into "doing nothing."
But constant clicking? No. Only when moving the arm in a circular motion about the shoulder.
Hello, joining this discussion…did any of you have any relief with the clicking in your fs or any tips to relieve the pain?
Mine has been freezing since December to May, 2 cortisone injections and it’s only now that I feel it is starting to improve slightly. But the pain is like no other, especially at night. Please share your experiences with me.
