frozen shoulder - how do you get into/out of the bath?!?

My frozen shoulder started on holiday in August, so I've probably got a loooong way to go.

I'm having the usual struggles mentioned (hair washing, dressing etc) but can not work out how to get into & out of the bath without pain and panic. I'm sure someone may have some tips for exiting the bath with one arm and a broken wing!

Please help! thanks

Hi Claire. The only way I could manage it was to manoevre myself onto my hands and knees and then use my good arm and my legs to get up. Good luck with it... not easy... and all the best for a quick recovery

Hi - leave the bath full, roll over onto your knees and use your good arm the help you up. Be careful when getting out. I find this works for me. Kind regards Karen.

I have had to give up baths ( which I loved) and have had to use shower only. I also have bad knees so no way could I get out once I got in.  I have had this since the first of this year and still have a couple years to go from what I've read. I did a bit of physical therapy at first but couldn't afford to keep it up. Nor did it really do any good. I can't afford the surgery either so I'm stuck sitting it out. The only up side to this is I don't work, but sitting out my time is so frustrating. Can't style my hair, so I look like a wash woman on top of feeling like crap. This is not how I pictured my "golden years".
