FS with chest pain & asthma type symptoms

Hello, I am wondering if anyone else has these symptoms?

I have had FS for 3 years along with the usual referred stabbing pain in chest, radiating up my neck. The mobility in my fs is gradually returning, although the pain in my chest etc is not decreasing.  I also seem to have asthma type symptoms as well, has any one else noticed a correlation? I am not asthmatic. I can only describe the symptoms as a tight chest when breathing which comes and goes, along with the severity of the chest pain.  I have previously had steroid injections with did not really work for me as I have no actual pain in the shoulder area.  I am wondering whether to go back to my Dr regarding the asthma symptoms but wanted to check online first to see whether this is a common symptom?  I suspect that my FS initially started after a sudden movement 3 years ago which sent an excrutiating pain up my arm and along my chest, it felt as if I had torn a major muscle across my upper left chest area, shortly afterwards my FS started.

Any information anyone may have on as to whether these asthma type symptoms could be related would be great to know. Thank you

Tina....I would be going to the doctor immediately and get checked over thoroughly. Your symptoms arnt in keeping with frozen shoulder symptoms.....please get it checked out 😊

Thank you for your reply kerri, have made an appointment to see my dr on monday. I would really like an xray or something, just for peace of mind that there is nothing sinister going on!  I have a 5 minute appointment (yes, a whole 5 mins!) so wish me luck on trying to explain in that time!!!! ;{

Your kidding a 5 minute appointment??

Where are you? Are you in Australia?

Good girl for getting an appointment though.

You need an X-ray and an ultra sound of that shoulder too.

Please let me know how you get on 😊❌❌❌

I'm in Australia......maybe your in the UK?

Yep I am in the UK.  How long do you get for appointments then?

I written a bullet point list in the vain hope I can give her all relevant info super fast. Definately want some form of investigation now.  Will keep you posted x

Appointments are made in 15 minute intervals, sometimes your quicker and sometimes longer. Surely your doctor won't kick you out after 5 minutes. Your only discussing one ailment, not like your going in with 5 different ailments. Anyways keep me posted, it's getting close to midnight here and my pain meds have kicked in.....pain free at last for a while anyway 💊💊😀

this is not normal for fs to my knowledge i would get more advice if i was you good luck x

Hi Tina,

it sounds very much like angina , both my parents suffer with this.

please go to the doctors for check up xx

Hi Tina....how did you get on at the doctor on Monday? Been thinking about you 😊

Ah..thanks Kerri.  She sent me for an xray yesterday afternoon and I get the results of that on Friday, when I also have to have blood taken as well.  If they all come back clear then apparently I'm off to the Chest Clinic to find out if I've got asthma.  So, its a case of wait and see now. Quite hard for me as Im probably the most impatient person on the planet. x

Oh you poor love 😥, YEP I'm hearing you, im very impatient too. Well if it is Asthma that is very treatable at least, but what about your shoulder?

Tina....are you ok??

Havnt heard from you or even seen you on the forum, are you doing ok?

What were your X-ray results on Friday.

Thinking of you 😘💐

Hoo Hoo Tina......are you ok??? 😊❌❌
