At long last I have managed to reply to some of the problems that I have had just been too ill do do so.
After taking Flagyl antibiotic twice became very ill and have been given 2 lots of this really terrible drug FLUCONAZOLE 7DAY SUPPLYX2.
Couldnt eat sleep felt sick tinitus pains in stomach last lot caused severe irregular heart beat ended up last Friday p.m. at 111 with blood pressure of 180/100 pulse of 130. I was going to be sent to cardiology but eventually it all settled. Doctor at centre took me off it and was instructed not to go on holiday so i missed that with the family!
Pharmacist was not too struck when I came for second prescription yes another 7 day course of them but what can he do but issue them.
This has a sheet given with really awful side effects and I NEVER EVER want to take this again.
My friend had terrible vertigo and a few other weird symptoms and found out it was caused by Lyme disease and the heart problems by Babesia. (Both infections spread by insects) I'm not saying you have Lyme disease but I'm saying the candida could be a secondary infection caused by a weakened system, look further to see what might have weakened your system to start with - check out other causes
Have to say that I take fluconazole regularly for thrush and it works very well. Luckily I don't get any side effects. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any natural products that work as well . Natural bio yogurt applied into your vagina works for some people. Canestan cream works well for under breasts. I would go back to your GP as other products are available.
I wouldn't want to be using the drug regularly, you should be aware the drug is very hard on ones liver. The idea is that you use the drug to control it and then lifestyle choice to maintain it. I'd be concerned that if you're having a reoccurring thrush problem you're doing lifestyle wise to allow it to get out of hand again. Good idea to review your sugar intake, antibiotic intake and carb and yeast intake. Up your antifungals like garlic and oregano (both natural form and tablet form) to keep it in check all year. If you can maintain the control it is preferable than taking the drug repeatedly. Your liver will be happer too!
