anyone have an idea, if we go into full lockdown again will my operation be put back even though received copy letter sent to my gp saying im not urgent case and will get op done within 4-6 weeks and that was 2 wks ago come thursday?
getting worried it will get postponed again.
i had a GP appointment on 24th December at which my GP said my orthopaedic appointment at the local hospital in mid February would most likely be delayed by 6-8 months. So yes, expect to get delays not due to lockdown but to the number of people in hospital with coronavirus.
oh that doesn’t sound good.
however today I’ve just received my pre op appointment for tomorrow, covid test on 15th and op for 18th so fingers crossed will happen now.
Probably not Vicky, even in a full lockdown you can go to appointments. It feels like we have been locked down forever in Wales, but we can still go to appointments at hospital,even though they are doing limited operations, yours should still be okay as it arranged.

nervous because of covid, but need it doing.
so on countdown now, just seeing news makes me nervous it might get cancelled but they did stay no matter what this hospital will not be used for covid patients.
Fingers crossed Vickie, I would take a mask and a big pack of hand wipes, to keep wiping everything I touched. Maybe, I am a bit OCD.
