When I have a ‘ normal’ mild pain bowel movement, and there’s not much of it, my stools are browny yellow, mucousy, and the weirdest thing, is it smells exactly like menstrual blood!
Anyone else have this?

Yes, same happens to many of us...Smell can be linked to mucous. Do you have ibs background? Have you seen gastro to eliminate other risks?
I had similar symptoms and had my colonoscopy..came clean.

My stools were grey and very slimy with an oily cover. Which showed I could not digest fat. Try a 40-45 gram fat diet a day and see what happens.
By the way a Colonoscopy is not the right investigation for this. Why not go for a seCAT scan for Bile Acid Malabsorption.
