Does anyone experience dizziness/fogginess with RA fatigue, hard to describe but a little like being tipsy? Also effects my concentration and memory at times.
Hello. That's exactly how I feel a lot of the time. The general feeling of fatigue is something I am finding it difficult to cope with but I have read it's a common side effect. So it's not just you
Thank you! I haven't been disgnosed yet and assume you have? I am being referred to a rheumatologist so hoping to get it done soon! Thought I would just doing some research before I go and ask others how they feel I hope you feel better soon.
Yes I know what you mean, I sometimes wonder is it that or all the tablets I'm on!! Painkillers alone, make me whoozy and sleepy at times. Family & Dr's always say l've been on them so long they wouldn't still do that. I don't know it's not all the time so they say I must just be tired, due to the sjogrens! Hope your have a happy time over the coming few days whatever
HI,
all the effects u describe are part of RA. it zaps UR energy ..some days I just feel slow and it's tough to keep up on days when my memory is sluggish.
have u seen a Rumy. Tell UR doc UR symptoms they can help . I take many of the recommended supplements and foods. UR doc will help u make the best decision for you. Everyone is different. Not all meds, supplements or foods help or make this diseases any less painfull. I hope u find the right combination of treatments that work for you.
keep in mind to stay active the best u can, that's the best treatment for me. It gets the happy endorphins hormones going and I feel better. Always listen to UR body when UR tired & try not to over do & take time outs during the day fo rest .
Keep me posted on what you have tried. It's a constant trial by error to find what helps and it's usually a combination of many things. There is no cure but there are a lot of new drugs u can ask UR Rumy about DMARDS & biologics.
i am so sorry u r suffering with RA. it definately has it's trials and challenges. Just remember it's not who u are.this illness can be devastating a good acceptance and understanding of our strengths and limitations is helpful and encouraging to know that we can stll do everything we can with help and different techniques. Sometime it's takes a little imagination to figure out a easier way to do things. ie: for gardening my passion and I continue to find short cuts, tools and even hire some help to keep up my hobby stay active and plant a few veggies and fav flowers .
Best of luck for learning to manage RA...
