Hi there, I have the same conditions FMS AS and Osteoarthritis. I have steroid injections which seem to help a lot with the pain. As for fibro just pace yourself and don't overdo it just because you are having a good day even though I know they don't come very often but you have got to make your walk around a bit or for me yoga stretches everyday. Don't go to hot countries as you will have horrendous flare ups and that goes for extreme cold.....Regards Brenda
I agree with a lot of things in the earlier reply. I think pacing and exercise are key to managing all of these conditions. By exercising I mean something as gentle as stretching or chair based exercises. My mum has quite bad OA affecting most of her joints. She started chair based exercises earlier this year and is now able to walk for over an hour - this would have been unheard of 12 months ago. I hope you can find some sort of gentle exercise you can manage without causing a flare up. Take care Denise x
Thank you Denise..... I do. Yoga at home which even release's the stress factor of it all....take care Brenda
