Ive been taking Gabapentin for 10months and found it relieved the pain associated with Fibromyalgia. Unfortunately I have gained about 12 pounds in weight since I started taking it and feel the is the most serious side effect for me.
hi i just started take gabapentin 2weeks ago doctors keep try me on dif tabs to try and get my pain under control i suffer with fibromialga seems to be helping
Hi my husband has fb.he has just started taking. Cymbalta 30mg it made him feel sick for the first few days but now he is alot better. Touch wood these tablets. Seem to be the best he has taken. So far he is still taking. Gabapentin as well but he feels so much better
I have also been taking gabapentin for about a year because I have serious pain following THR. I take 600mg, morning, lunch and dinner, then 900mg at night, (2700mg daily). Also I have prescribed paracetamol 8 tabs daily and codiene 6 tabs daily. No bad side effects except that I'm also gaining weight and seeing my GP tomorrow to discuss it.
