Just curious if any men here have tried Gainswave therapy for Erectile Dysfunction? Other than the Gainswave website and one or two reviews I can't find much information on results. Seems like another way separate men from their money. I've read it can be used for women for better orgasms. So if you're woman and have had this done please chime in.
I was initially very sceptical, but it has real doctors behind it, and they link to some peer-reviewed papers, and a meta-study says this:
"Patient summary: We reviewed 14 studies of men who received low-intensity extracorporeal shock wave treatment (LI-ESWT) for erectile dysfunction (ED). There was evidence that these men experienced improvements in their ED following LI-ESWT."
Hardly a ringing endorsement, but it sounds like it might work for some men. If it was that great though, wouldn't we all have heard about it a long time ago?
My feelings exactly. One of the guys that frequents the prostate forum has had it done. Said it worked and plans on doing every couple of years as long he is sexually active. As mentioned the real info i can find are basically infomercials. Hoping to hear from some guys or gals that have had the procedure
Gonna bump this to see is anyone else has input
You are correct that there are almost no reviews except on the gainswave providers site. And of course they are all positive. This forum is about the only forum I have found that accepts posts on the subject. I had 3 treatments and a p shot for 3K$. I didn’t think it really worked at all, just expensive fun. I also had a testosterone implant that really did work. I think the wave and p shot is just a scam to relieve desperate old men of their hard earned retirement savings. When I refused to continue with the treatments the doctor basically threw me out. He didn’t want my testosterone maintenance or blood work, etc. He just wanted the high profit work. it’s a scam. Save your money. Don’t be a fool.
Thanks for your opinion Bruce. I tend to agree with you regarding the scam part. Its been 6 months since I posted this. I still see no reveiws on line.
I wasted $3000 on this “miracle” on the advice of one of Philadelphia’s top urologist. If anything, my erections have gotten worse. I wish I had better news because I know how frustrating this problem is but, save your money. I used eWave but its all the same. Another money grab by people taking advantage of men desperate for help. Disgraceful. Oh, and after I reported I was getting no results on their follow up calls they stopped calling after 2. Snake oil salesmen.

Thanks Tim. Was the urologist the one that did the gainswave or was it someone else? They say it doesn't work for everyone. How bad is your ED?
Wow. Just had my first treatment and it left me sore and sorry. The doc's assistant also gave me a pump to help get blood to 'the affected areas' . Man that was a gross thing to walk out with. Overall, kind of an awful experience. I hope I haven't done any damage. Not going back. I don't recommend this 'treatment'.
I started GAINSWAVE for Peyronies disease a month or so ago. I've been on CIALIS for a few years now and have erections with that put i started getting the peyronies symotoms about 2 years ago. I'm going for my 6th session of GAINSWAVE today and to be honest it hasn't helped the peyronies at all. I still have the unnatural bend in my penis when erect. I'm pretty pissed about it because the Dr requires full payment in advance for the first 6 sessions and then after the check clears they tell you that most people require 12 sessions so they will need another $2000. I feel like I've been taken.
I just checked into this and with P shot its over $6k up front for 12 treatments.. I'd like to hear from someone who's seen success before I break the bank. I'm curious if most are over 50 reading this forum, diabetic? other health issues? I'm trying to get as healthy as possible and lose weight to help as well. My issue is diabetes but I have it controlled and may be able to stop the meds for it soon. Had I known this would happen 20 yrs ago I would have done different. does anyone do cialis daily plus use viagra when engaging? my urologist told me to do both. All responses welcome, hope to hear from a patient with good results.
if its for ED it might work - for PEYRONIES it does not
hi cheytoy
i did it on friday, 2 days ago and i havent got an erection yet. plus my penis is sore. im scared. can you give an update. thanks
i had 2 shots and they were so painful i couldnt face getting 10 more - also you cant have sex for weeks after the shots
No, this is a fake procedure and a rip off. You will not see any benefit from this. I just wasted $3k after 12 sessions no improvements at all.
i am healthy and active but i figured that i could use this as a preventive action and better my performance i keep reading that its painless well let me tell you that it is painful as heck !! at least to me it is , ive done 4 treatments and im sore and have not seen ANY differance as a matter of fact it has made me feeling like less not more

... as i said - this is a scam - don't waste your money
@T4859485917 after a month or so please update us. They claim it can take a month or 2 to see results.
the risk is not worth it im not going back my urethra was inflamed it took days to get back to normal maybe its just its just not for me ! would like to see if the p shot is any better (maybe) good luck and be careful i have a good friend thats a doctor and says the bottom line is there is trauma being inflicted to the penis and genitals ( that is not a natural situation ) Beet juice helps with the Noxide which boosts blood flow , baby aspirin daily is an anticoagulant cardio exercise, and a good diet thats the game plan if you want to impress an occasional teladaphyl or syladaphil wont hurt . nothing that advertises that is completely painless and then in turn hurts like hell can be good!!
could be just me but im out !
