Gallbladder disease

Hi everyone, firstly its great to be here and hopefully help advise in anyway possible and also to receive help about the health issues I've been facing recently. Well I've been In pain for a few months now, and at first I thought I had a hernia, but my Doctor feels confident that it's my gallbladder and has referred me over for a scan, I'm desperately hoping this appointment comes through soon as I don't know how much longer I can go on with this pain and discomfort. Until its sorted I have to watch what I eat, I have noticed that an hour after eating I do suffer the most pain and bloating and was wondering if anyone had any ideas what type of foods would Make my life a little easier for now.

As well as eating a low fat diet (if it is your gallbladder), I would try cutting out wheat. Whether you test positive for Celiac or not, you can have a sensitivity to wheat that doesn’t show up in any tests. I have had pressure/pain in my right side for almost 2 years. I was tested for Celiac (negative), had a CT, a hyda scan for gallbladder, abdominal and pelvic ultrasound, scope, colonoscopy and bloodwork. Nothing showed up. I decided to try eliminating wheat about 6 weeks ago and the pain/pressure has now been gone for about 4 weeks. Anyway, it may be worth a try. Good luck.

hi where is the pain has if it’s on your left side and you get pain when you eat it may be your pancreas

Try a food diary to see what foods cause you pain. You could try cutting out fatty foods since your doctor thinks it may be gallbladder.
