Hi all. I'm 9 days post op and my steri strips have started coming off. My belly button incision is just a straight line but the other 3 smaller ones look a bit like mosquito bites. Just a bit of welted looking skin. Is this pretty normal? Its not red or irritated so i doubt its infected or something of the like. Just seemed strange is all.
Sounds pretty normal. That is about the way mine looked.
I'm seven days post surgery and I took my plasters off after three days as I was advised to. They are very neat and apart from the bruising and a bit of swelling I am healing nicely. Managing only on paracetamol now. How are you feeling?

I'm feeling good. I only needed painkillers the first two days. I don't hurt at all unless I get doing too much. I ended up being home alone with my 18lb daughter yesterday and managed just fine with her. In fact lifting wasnt the issue. Bending often was more of a bother so i had to find ways around that. Stomach is usually a tad grumbly until i eat something but then it settles down
