Gallbladder investigations

I’m being investigated for gallstones. I’ve had blood tests and the results have come back normal.
What does this mean? Theres been no explanation from the GP. Should I also do a chloresterol test?

you should have an XRAY OR ULTRASOUND scan to identify gallstones.
Good luck.
Geoff.

thanks Geoff, I’m waiting to get an appointment for ultra sound.

The only test that can find stones is an ultrasound. Blood test cannot tell anyone if you have stones. Sorry they wasted your money. That’s is how the medical field treats us people will gallbladder issues. It’s just not that important to them. Anyways hope you find out what your issues are and get on the road to recovery. Good Luck.
