Hello!
I had my gallbladder removed last Monday. I have been doing pretty well, but today noticed when I tried lying on my left side, I became uncomfortable and had some chest pain, which is odd since everything was done on the right side. I had the laprascop surgery. My back is so tired from lying on it all of the time.
I also had a lot of diarrhea until my surgeon told me to go ahead and take an immodium. Any suggestions or tips is greatly appreciated!

Hi! I just had my gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago today, and I couldn't sleep/lay on my left side very comfortably either for the first week or so. I think it was the power of gravity causing everything (by which I mean my tummy fat, boobs, etc.) to pull on that area where my gallbladder was. I found it much more comfortably, oddly enough, to sleep on my right side! (I was always achey in my gallbladder area the next morning, though.) What worked for me was turning on my side and putting a pillow underneath me a little bit to provide a bit more cushion and provide a little elevation - almost like you're spooning the pillow, if you can visualize that.
