Im a 32 year old male and had my gallbladder removed 2 weeks ago. Im having bad right side abdominal pain around one of my incision that is radiating to my right hip which is a titanium hip. Theres no redness but there is swelling and sensitivity. Im worried of infection spreading to my hip. The pain is getting worse everyday with resting. Starting to get worried. Went and had blodd test done few days ago and nothing. But now pain is a lot worse. Is it infection or just healing process from the surgery? Thanks in advance.
If you’re worried I’d always go get checked out, even if only to put your mind at rest. Do you have any other symptoms of infection like fever? Extreme pain always needs to be assessed so please go get seen xx
My suggestion is that you go to an ER or A&E and find out what's going on. The pain should not be increasing. Have you taken your temperature? Do you have a fever? There are other things besides an infection that could be happening. xx.
Hi there well sounds like just the healing process hope you feel better soon takes ages with some people but your only young so should be fine in a few weeks , rest drink plenty of water don't go lifting anything either .👌
