Hey everyone. I’ve recently had such a bad experience with diagnosis.
I’ve been experiencing stomach pain and issues for almost a year. I had (what turned out to be a gallbladder attack) that put me in the hospital, they said I had hypermesis from smoking cannabis. the day after(7/11) I ended up back at a different E.R that finally did an ultrasound and said I had a hydropic* gallbladder. I’m scheduled for surgery this Monday and I’m really ready to feel better, but I had another attack yesterday which put me back again.
I’m worried because two different hospitals are saying different things. One hospital said I need it out and my surgeon agrees, and the other one I have been to twice says it’s fine.
I’m also worried because I haven’t ate anything other than Popsicles because I can’t keep anything down.
Any reassurance or advice would be helpful In dealing with fear of eating and surgery jitters. I am overweight at 272lbs (recently lost a lot of weight) 2 weeks ago I was 293
