Gallbladder symptoms. Could it be from my celiac disease?

I am almost 18 years old and when I was in 7th grade(so like 5 years ago)  I was diagnosed with celiac disease. It was hard for me to accept so I ate the gluten free diet for about 6 months but during that time I was constantly nauseous, bloated, extremely fatigued, and overall just not well. So I stopped the diet and continued on with eating what I wished. But now in having issues absorbing iron so my doctor is telling me to change back to the diet. But more recently I have been having bad pain on my right side near my rib cage, mostly at night after I ate greasy or fatty foods. Could this pain be symptoms of a gallbladder problem that I could have acquired from my celiac disease? Pleeease help

It could be. Especially as you are suffering after fatty meals. Go back to doc and ask for a gall bladder scan see what's going on. Good luck.

Yes blake,

I do agree with Kim, go back to doctor and them about the new pains. Does anyone in your close family(mother, Dad, Grandmother , aunt) have any galabladder troubles? if so tell your Doc. that also.

Yes actually my grandmother did and had hers removed years and years ago. I will contact my doctor. Thank you all
