i am having tests for a possible bad gallbladder
I’ve had a catscan this week and friday am going for colonoacopy and endoscopy(think that’s what its called) I’ve gotten a few replies on people symptoms. does anyone have out of the ordinary symptoms? i have severe abdomen swelling with pain right below my breastbone in center.severe constipation I’ve tried all sorts of over the counter and none work so far,all except enemas.Ewww! sometimes i feel like $something is pressing on my diaphragm giving me chest pains. as far as bowel movements when i get them they have been greenish yellow. clay color regular with black spots.has anyone else had any of these symptoms.I’m not throwing up but i can’t function im miserable.thanks
you want to ask for a HIDA SCAN thats the only test that figures out if your gallbladder is functioning. ultrasound can see stones. i had light colored stools pain and low grade fever for months all my tests were negative until HIDA which showed my gallbladder was basically bot functioning.
i too had Catscans and also endoscopy to rule out other issues before my surgery . but HIDA is the gallbladder function test.
I had a catscan this week.that would show something in there I’m seeing Dr Friday .my friend is having her gb out all they did was an untrasound she didn’t even need the hydascan. hoping catscan will show something
am having an endoscopy friday.also colonoscopy.my hida test isn’t until Nov.14. I just can’t take this pain until then
