Hi from New Zealand l too have recently had my gallbladder removed.l also have been experiencing the same pain like many others whose stories l have read.Especially around the belly button where l had & incision on top of 3 other incisions.l still get pain on the right side of my tummy also in the back l thought once the surgery was done that l would be on the road to pain free normal life. I am normally a active woman but since l had my gallbladder removed l seem to be always tired and l just don't have a lot of energy l get really bad hot sweats even when lm just sitting & relaxing lm just so over it l just want to feel normal and active again l still continue to take prescribed pain relief from my GP lve run out of solutions l feel my doctor must think it's all in my head my MRI Scan came back normal so what is causing these symptoms .
Hi bubbles I have had countless tests since having mine out last year with multiple hospital admissions they have only just found out that I have a benign bilary stricture- damage caused by surgery this had taken nearly 2 yrs and 3 operations I feel your frustration it's awful I hope you feel better soon 🤒
SO sorry you are still in pain..I get the pain under my right ribcage that radiates to my lower and mid back.I still have a small piece of gallbladder that has become infected with staphylococcus aureus. They call it a biloma. My common bile duct and cystic duct are strictured (narrowed) so my gastrointerologist put in biliary stents. I am awaiting anot her surgery called a hepaticojejunostomy where they will take out the strictured ducts and they will form new outlets to my intestine.I am not looking forward to it. I had my gallbladder removed February 19th of 2016 and am still in pain daily..Please listen to your intuition. .I had multiple ctscans mri hidascan scans that with the right doctor he saw the biloma. And he confirmed with an mrcp..I keep a journal of my weight and any and all foods or fluids I ingest and a pain log..it really helps to see if there is any food triggers that make it worse.I am in the USA.
Best regards..debra1711
