Iv just come out of hospital thinking I had a hiatal hernia I had pain in top of stomach in between my ribs nauseous burping acid reflux & had swallowing problems I had a ultra sound & x rays & have been told I have a infection in my gallbladder & gallstones I have got 2 have gallbladder removed has any one else had these symptoms with gallbladder
I recently was in hospital for 5 days with similar symptoms.
I really do feel for you. The pain I experienced was off the scale for me. I had an inflamed gallbladder and an ultrasound scan showed gallstones. I came home last Saturday and babe just finished the oral antibiotics given. I'm still experiencing a dull ache all the time through my back radiating up my right shoulder but I'm able to manage that with a hot water bottle and paracetamol. I'm on a low-fat eating plan to try and make sure I have little to no flare ups and even though I've had to cut out all
Chocolate, fatty foods etc and stick to salads, fish more fibre and water I'm hoping I will remain pain free for as long as possible.
I've just had my letter through from a specialist for my appointment in May to discuss the gallstones and what the plan is from here. I really do sympathise with anyone going through this, is not nice at all.

During my attacks I have a dull pain/ cramping which is unbearable in the middle of my stomach at about 3 inches above the navel. I don't have pain in my shoulder or under my ribs. I also have gas, some nausea, burping and reflux most of the time. Yours are definitely gb symptoms in my opinions
