Anybody experience constant upper left back pain before any abdominal issues?
Ashlea,
Sorry that you're going through this--you need to get yourself to a doctor! xx
You think its cancer dont you!
Ashlea, I'm not a doctor. I can't diagnose what's going on with you. You're on a site with very experienced, knowledgeable patients, but no one on this site can diagnose you. It could be many things. You mentioned abdominal issues. That could mean pain, diarrhea or constipation.
If your issues are gastro-intestinal, go see a gastroenterologist to find out what's going on so you can get the treatment you need. Don't assume you have cancer! Don't wait around because you are worried or frightened. xx
What abdominal issues do you have? And do you mean youve had back pain for a few months and now are having abdominal issues too? Or do you mean you'll have back pain for an hour or so then have abdominal issues?
Sorry just trying to understand what you mean by your question
Ashley, with gallstones you can have pain in the area of your liver (right area from under your breast to your right flank about at the level of your naval). Some of my worst pain was referred pain to my right back and shoulder. You should err more on the cautious side if you are having left arm, back or shoulder pain. Don’t assume the worse but you need to see your internist and let him make the call if you should see a specialist. As Lynda said don’t assume you have cancer or some other disease. The longer you wait you will just make it harder on yourself, your mind can play terrible games on you.
