Please help!
I have a sore throat (tonsil stones) and I'm due to have my gastric band op on Friday, will is still go ahead? I don't have a cough and I feel fine, in fact I have these tonsil stones most of the time!

the best person to contact is a nurse on the surgical ward or in the pre-assessment department.
in theory a sore throat should have cleared up by then, but better to check in advance just in case.
