Hi, I've been having upper abdominal discomfort for almost four months now. It started as a dull ache in the LUQ and then moved to the middle and RUQ. I talked to my GP and he diagnosed me with acid reflux but the medications weren't really helping so I changed doctors and the current one diagnosed me with gastritis. I've been having PPI's for some months now but I don't feel much improvement. I tried weaning off them but ended up having heartburn. The only time I don't feel any symptoms is when I wake up in the morning. The past few days, I've been having weird contractions in my upper abdomen. It feels like something is contracting or moving there but it's not always there. Currently my symptoms are: ▪︎upper abdominal discomfort especially in the centre and RUQ ▪︎occasional heartburn ▪︎belching ▪︎constipation and bloating ▪︎few rare headaches which don't hurt but feel like vibrations or goosebumps(?) in my head I've had ultrasound done which didn't show anything abnormal. I'm just worried over what this could be.
