Ive been getting worsening symptoms of indigestion; feeling of needing to burp a lot (not always able), general discomfort/wind i upper stomach area.
i take omeprazole but don’t like to; sometimes works better than others.
i also sometimes get palpitations with the symptoms , not anxiety . is this normal?! do i have gerd or gastritis?

Doesnt sound like gastritis, more GERD symtoms. I suffer with GERD and I’m actually having fundoplication surgery tomorrow. I have alot of gas out of both ends.
what other symtoms do you have?
ive been having similar symptoms for almost 3 months and after an endoscopy was diagnosed with gastritis.
also been taking omeprazole and pantoprezole but they havent helped. how long have you been taking omeprazole? if you havent already, i would see your doctor. they might asvise to take it for longer or maybe do some tests.
