How long can gastritis caused by stress and diet last? I have been suffering for almost a month and while some of the upper stomach pain is easing, I still do not feel myself and cannot seem to get my appetite back properly. I am fed up feeling down over this. I have been taking Omeprazole 20mg once a day and the doctors are saying I must do this for a full month before they try anything else. Please can I have some hope from someone who has been through this.
