Hello My name is Eva I have suffered for over two years with lazy gut and gastroparesis. It all started one day, when I was eating something and it didn’t sit right. I threw up straight away. What followed was throwing up 10 times a day and extreme nausea. I lost a lot of weight as it was hard to keep anything down. I was in my final year of university and had to drop out. I went to the hospital and was in a lot of pain. I used domperidone, ondansetron and other things to manage the pain. I found that drinking squash stomach exercise and sticking to a liquid diet really helped. The vomiting never went away though. A year on and I still have not figured out the cause. I had Botox injected into my stomach. I always struggled to go to the toilet but found that when I when I hadn’t gone for while my symptoms where so much worse. However, laxatives makes everything worse. As the pain is unmanageable. I then cut out dairy and found that really helps. However, the pain and constipation is still there. The constipation got so bad it made it harder to control my bladder. I am looking for any help with constipation and gastropareses. I know that if I stick to a liquid diet for a lot of the day things will be better for me. Yet I can’t seem to do it all the time. Does anyone have any natural constipation or stomach remedies. Or have any advice for coping with this. I have lost trust in doctors and the pandemic has made everything worse. I am due to go back to university this year but don’t know if I will be able to if things stay the same. Anything will help, as I am struggling. I am supportived but soon it will be three years of dealing with this and I don’t want this to be my life forever.
