Hi Janet! Sorry i've not been in touch, but i've been in hospital with a very bad attack. I am now on the emergency list to have the gaul bladder removed, as when i was in hospital, they did another ultrasound and m r i scan, and have discovered that my gaul bladder is now very badly diseased. This time, the attack affected the panchrias, and they were very concerned, and had me on a drip. They thought a stone had gone into the liver, but the scans showed that i managed to pass it. I don't know why they couldn't have removed it while i was in, and I asked my surgeon why, but he said that it would cause more complications, and they would have to give the gaul bladder at least a fortnight to settle down. i've had another attack since coming out of hospital, but this time my medication worked. i really dread these attacks, and get so frightened. I hope they call me for surgery soon! Anyway, enough about me! How are you recovering? Please write and let me know. Hope everything is ok with you. Val.
