I posted a few days ago about me not knowing if it’s a heat rash or herpes. I had been trying to self medicate myself now for 4-5 days but I couldn’t wait any longer I had to know. Went to urgent care this morning and thank god it was my reg doc working there. He checked it out and at first said they looked like pus papules but I had lotrimin over them so then he wiped it off for a swab test and then felt more confident saying it was herpes because he then saw more sores in clusters. He swabbed and I’m waiting for results but I know it’s herpes so I’m the meantime he prescribed me antiviral medicine. No one wants to have this but it is so much more common than people think. He also told me it doesn’t matter if you wear a condom or not you contract herpes by skin to skin contact. So we have to get to know who we’re having sex with for real !!!! I wasn’t shocked I had prepared myself for it. Even if you guys don’t have it or think you don’t you should just prepare for any results. The medicine though will take care of any itching and heals blisters much faster and when you have no more symptoms of it you CANNOT give it to others when preforming sexual activities, however you should tell your next sexual parents. Also when you do have an outbreak it is best to take the meds your prescribed right when you feel any type of burning or soreness!!! And if you are having an outbreak please don’t have sex with anyone or touch it leave it alone and go to your nearest urgent care... if you touch it you can spread it to other parts of your body which would be horrible !!! I m a man with herpes since april. I got it from one night stand.
I didnt have any other ob.
But i use suppressive therapy. I m back to sex again twice and i use condom. My partner still feels healthy. Ofcourse i told her. I hope she will be protected forever.

As long as you have no symptoms of it she will be fine. But when you have even 1 blister and have sex with her with or ithout a condom she can get it. Just make sure your not having an outbreak and if you feel like your about to even before the blisters take your meds !! They’ll prevent the flare up !! So sorry to hear that but life doesn’t end here !!
