Started seeing a new partner and after two weeks we slept together. A week after I developed a rash but i just thought it was from shaving or thrush....
Doctor says fairly sure its Herpes but has swabbed to see if it could be anything else. Approached my partner and he was too calm and didnt seem suprised at all and just said "no i didn't know but sorry if thats the case" which leads me to believe he knew.
Just looking for any other cause or a second opinion that it is indeed herpes.

He obviously knew, because if my partner developed something like that, I’d be concerned for myself too, seeing as he was calm and not freaked out or anything, he clearly knew. is he a fwb or a new boyfriend perhaps?
