Hey me again. I was doing some thinking on what the nurse at the clinic told me she had said that I should be all cleared up in a week while on the medication which was on last Wednesday. Wednesday is coming up meaning I only have like 7 pills left. I'm suppose to take 3 pills a day starting last Wednesday. I am not experiencing much of a difference the sores are still there. And they still sting and itch at random times. If I am not better by Wednesday should I go back to the clinic?
Also should I limit my activities. Bcuz every time I move alot or in a certain way it feels like the sores are tearing and it hurts! I'm suppose to go snowboarding soon but I guess I should put that off or it may end bad.( especially since I feel no difference down there)
But for things such as dancing should I put off as well?
Do as much activity as you can tolerate. For me, walking up one flight of stairs to the bathroom was all of the activity I could handle for almost a week. I wore a pad everyday which helped when the sores began to ooze. I had a squirt bottle full of cool water to use when I hade to pee. It helped dilute the urine and caused less stinging and burning.
Not sure what to tell you about the prograss of the medication.
It's pretty gross when the sores ooze like why does it do that? What's it releasing like it's not blood? How long did it take for your sores to heal up?
They ooze and then dry up. It's just like any other sore or cut on any other part of your body. But the pads or panty liners helped and I wore only cotton panties. That made a huge difference.
I was at my worst for almost exactly a week. Between the pain and the emotional stress, I was pretty much on the couch or in bed every day. It got better after a week and was 100% after a month. It was about 10 days before I could even think of wearing jeans.
Wait what after a month?!! It takes that long... I can't afford to wait that long. Where can I get cotton underwear everything I have says spandex. Or or it's polyester or a thong. Things do irritate the site I've began to realize. But just sitting down hurts it alot. Like I sit slowly and getting comfortable is hard like I read online that ppl use numbing cream but like if I were to do a bunch of activities the sores would probably strectch and cause alot of pain once the numbing cream wears off right?
A month to be 100%. One week of horrible pain and then it progressively got better.
Hanes and Fruit of the Loom and you can by them at Walmart, etc.
Okay we're you taking antibiotics?and alright so the citrin under wear is for comfort....or..
My OBGYN gave me a script for lidocaine ointment and I took ibuprofen for the pain. The ER doc gave a stronger pain med for the first 3 days
