I’ve been experiencing some burning in my vagina and went to the doctors. She said she seen a sore inside my vagina and tested for genital herpes. It came back negative. I do suffer from oral herpes. I’m still burning and it looks as if something new is forming in a different area of my vagina.
sometimes swabs aren’t that accurate is taking more than 48 hours after the appearance of a blister . do you know if you have oral HSV cold sores ? do you have a partner and when was the last time you had a sexual encounter . you could try a type specific IGG test that may give you better answers can time it could be anything like yeast infection so don’t stress too hard
I feel like it’s getting worse.
I’m having constant pain in my Vagina again. doesn’t hurt when I pee. Got swabbed 5 months ago for Genital herpes and it came back negative.
hey, does it just burn or only when you peed in the past? Do you have a picture of the original “sore” the doctor saw? Nothing resembles clear-cut herpes in these pictures so its very hard to say
have you gotten tested for anything else?
5 months ago it was just a herpes and yeast infection test. Both came back negative and I’m terrified to go back bc of the news I might get.

why do you keep getting swabs? get blood work done it’s more accurate. since these sores keep showing up I would suspect its herpes.
