Hello so I was shaving down there the other day pretty quickly and I nicked myself a few times. It really hurt to pee and I thought I had a UTI until I looked... my boyfriend was in the military like a year ago and they did STI tests every few months and he didn’t have herpes then but idk... I haven’t gone in yet but I’m planning on soon. Could anyone help me figure out if these sores are from shaving or are these herpes? I’ll insert pictures.
The symptoms and the sores, it looks like herpes to me. It is possible your boyfriend had and didn’t know, HSV testing is not included in the regular STI tests. You should definitely have it checked though, just to make sure.
this looks like herpes but also could he bacterial if the razor was dirty.
hsv isnt tested for on many routine screens. get them swabbed while you can.
