genital sores or severe infection?

Hi, I've recently developed these large painful sores on my vagina. The sores came on suddenly, and are basically getting worse by the hour. I have a new partner, who I have been with for 3 months now. My partner does not know of my situation down there yet, however he does not seem to have any symptoms. I was with my previous boyfriend for about three years, we were both virgins when we met. My new boyfriend has had multiple sexual partners (close to 10). This started off a tiny bump and a sore, and has now developed into this whole ordeal which is so incredibly painful to walk with or sit on and is making my life very hard right now. I have seen the doctor, who has took swabs, however they are not due back for another week yet. I suffer from some serious yeast infections, I am hoping to god this is just a really bad skin infection but I'm hoping someone here can give me a general suggestion as to what it is. I have a HUGE phobia of developing an STD, and my boyfriend will not take this lightly when he finds out. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

call a gyno and get a swab to see if its herpes, and which type 1 or 2. gyno will prob swab for other infections as well. Also, if they give you an appointment too far in the future like more than 2 days i would suggest finding a clinic. if its herpes, i have it myself and have several friends who had the first episode and the faster you get the antibiotic the better. itll go away in a few days. without it, it ll go away but get worse and just bothersome. its the first episode so yeah. ive never had another episode in ten years and neither have the five girls i know personally, so thats good news.. anyway i hate waiting around not knowing whats going with my body and if theres pain then i find a way to get a visit asap. let me know how the visit goes. could be a bad yeast infection but when it comes to sores.. and several like that .. could be herpes. go see a doc just in case.

This is not too bad yet. With just little treatment you will be fine. i can assist you if possible but you need stop sex for a whole month.

test for herpes it also looks like u have a vaginal yeast infection aswel

I’ve had the swabs done for herpes, but they have said it’ll take another week for results yet! I was hoping the top part was just a yeast infection, I’m frightened the sores spread any further. Thank You!

I can’t imagine what it must be like if it gets any worse, the pain is awful now. I can’t even think about sex at the moment, so a month doesn’t sound too bad at all!

I have only been given antiviral medication for now, i’ve been taking it for only a day so hopefully it clears up soon! It’s the waiting around with the pain thats bothering me, not knowing what it is that’s wrong. If it is herpes, I appreciate any advice your able to give me!

have they given u antivirals incase it is herpes iv seen bad yeast infections look like this but iv also seen herpes look like it the discharge is most defo yeast

The antivirals are just incase, they said they would rather treat me for herpes now instead of waiting for the results as a precaution. I’ve been reading up on it, and I am hoping it is just a bad yeast infection! However the giant ulcers and sores at the bottom make me doubt it.
