Genital wart at the perineum

Hello, im a female who got diagnosed with genital wart at the perineum back in june 2020. my gyno back then didnt explain much to me, he just said yes it was wart and stated he was burning them off and i could resume sex once the wound heal, he stated it non cancerous. Now it 2022 and im worried, why? i dont know, i dont see any wart since the one he burned off, i have been in two long term relationship since then and they don't have any wart or complained of any. i went to my new gyno she did my pap smear and also showed she tested for hpv which are negative, does that mean it out of my system? what does any of this mean? maybe im just anxious due to the lack of education in regards to this?

Not to worry your body can fight off HPV that causes warts in 1-2 years and seeing that the wart that was burned of was the only 1 that indicates that your immune system was fighting hard and won only that wart got to grow but now that its gone and you did a test it came back negative means that your immune system had eliminated all trace of the virus your ok go buy yourself a cake

You have every reason to celebrate and forget about this: your body has successfully eradicated the virus, which is what happens in the majority of cases anyway

Chin up and stop worrying.
