Genital wart?

Hi,

I had a flat rather dry but very small patch of skin of the side of my penis shaft. Some days it would show reddish, other days it was hard to see it. Initially one dermatologist said it was nothing after examining it by eye (it was a hard-to-see-it day).

Another dermatologist, on a it-looked-reddish day, used his dermatoscope and diagnosed it as an HPV wart. He prescribed me Aldara 5% (imiquimod) but forgot to tell me about the side effects and the caution needed to use this cream. And well, as a man I rarely put any cream on, so I just put it like I put other creams when I do so: too much of it for too long and spread it too widely. 4 weeks of using it 3 times a week later I got “burns” (more like ulcers that developed from the virus-infected cells “killing themselves”), so I stopped using it.

Seven weeks have passed since I stopped using Aldara and the skin is still recovering and I cannot tell whether there the “old” wart on the side of the penis, there seems to be some marks, but it might be from the treatment from Aldara.

What is worrying me is a bump around the frenulum (see pictures): does it look like an early stage developing wart? For the last month throughout the treatment and through recovery period I’ve seen it go flat a couple of times, like if it were filled with fluid. I put some Aldara on “just in case” (I didn’t know how strong this cream can be), so it might be irritated as well.

I would really appreciate your input here.

i cannot see a wart its actually common to get growths on both sides of the frenulum called tyson glands it looks like u have damaged your skin with the cream u was prescribed
