I’ve had had these bumps for 6 months now. Doctors have said a range of things: inflamed sebaceous glands, pseudofolliculitis barbae, molluscum, and genital warts. I sent my dermatologist photos, and he said warts or molluscum. I can’t see him in person because of covid, but I just want to be sure which one it is. I don’t really have a dent in the centre of them, making me believe it is more likely warts. My partner of 7 months has symptoms of neither… not sure if that is relevant.
The bumps you see cannot be popped whatsoever; however there was a smaller one closer to my mons pubis that I squeezed. A hard, small white line of substance came out. Not sure if it was just an anomaly, as I’ve tried squeezing the ones in the photos countless times and nothing comes out. I thought it was odd that hair was growing from the centre of some of the bumps, but my dermatologist said that this can happen in both warts and molluscum!
- does this resemble warts or molluscum?
- is podofilox or aldara better? I can’t get cryro currently, as no doctors are taking patients
