I was told I have HSV1 but I have it on my vagina. what does this mean exactly? it’s less severe? ill get less outbreaks? my first outbreak just ended and I never want to experience that again.
I feel the same way. I never want to go though that again. I take daily suppressives. I might not ever get another outbreak without it. But I don't want to take any chances.
From what I have been told its HSV1 above the belt and HSV2 below the belt, it runs through our nerves system and pops up where it wants when our immune system is low. The outbreaks are supposed to get better and last shorter as time goes on. I started taking a daily anti-virual to try and just keep it from using my body as a play ground.
