GERD/Acid Reflux?

Anyone else developed Heartburn/Gerd etc after having anxiety? I had a really bad fee months of anxiety and since have now developed Heartburn every single day! Any tips on dealing with it?

yes. The best thing you can do right now is get your anxiety under control. I had anxiety and stress for many years and it led to having gastritis which is very painful. It’s an inflammation of the stomach lining. Severe anxiety and stress can also cause an ulcer . among many other health conditions. Make an appointment with your doctor to find out the best way to tackle this. sometimes the doctor will put a person on medication. Other things that help are stress reduction, a very healthy diet that eliminates all junk food, caffeine and acidic foods. You can find a list of those online. Best things to eat or vegetables, brown rice, and there are many more options. If you smoke it’s important that you do not and alcohol well definitely aggravated.
stress and anxiety can literally make us sick so it’s important to take care of yourself. If you have a lot of stress go speak with a counselor who can help you manage it.
for The short term you can try some ant acids like Tums or Pepto-Bismol . Those are just a temporary fix. I do hope you feel better soon
