My partner has been suffering ftom GERD for 3 years now but things have got exponentially worse over the past few months so it is severely impacting his life. He had an endoscopy 2 years ago and another one booked in 2 months time. Had H Pylori test and tried a very restricted diet but nothing has helped. He also has scoliosis which we thought could be connected but no doctor seems interested in this. At this point we feel like we're suggesting things to the consultant he's been seeing.
I wanted to ask whether anyone has any recommendations of GERD specialists in the UK bother NHS in London or private. We are now considering going private if it could help get some more support and answers. It would also be interesting to hear if anyone has had issues with GERd and scoliosis and any advice around this.
This is my first time posting and I'm not sure how much these forums are used. But we are in a really difficult dark place at the moment (as I know many others are) and would really, really appreciate your advice.
