Get scared trying to figure out what's going on with my liver

My AST levels are 278 my ALT levels are 455 miggt levels are 425 anybody tell me what's going on

do you drink alcohol?

there are lots of causes of elevated liver enzymes. As Jane suggested alcohol is one, although it is generally associated with an AST level significantly higher than the ALT.

Some possible other causes include viral hepatitis, autoimmune disorders, fatty liver, and on and on. It really depends on what other symptoms you have, and what other tests have been performed.

For example, your ALP (alkaline phosphatase) and bilirubin should be assessed. You should probably also get an ultrasound.

I agree, but we must remember that ALT Has a longer half life than AST, so it is the last to come down after the insult has been removed.

More information is needed about lifestyle etc and reason for tests
