Hello everyone. I have only been on zoloft for about 6 months and I really am not liking how I feel. I want to just stop taking them, but Im worried that it could be a bad idea. My GP wont talk unless I make an appointment, but I really don't have the time/money to do so. Im hoping that I can get some suggestions. Thanks!
I cut my tablets in half and waited to see how I felt
I didn't see a major change. And wasn't sure if I was being paranoid as well. So I am 3 days in off no tablets.
One gp told me 30 minutes exercise generates x2 serotonin.
I have also bought a SAD light in morning as a wake up
So far I am ok
End of day you know your body and if you want to take the risk. I think 50 mg isn't huge dose so half it for 2 weeks and see how you feel. If you panic restart
Hi Candice, what are you on the med for? Was this your first and only attack before you got on this med?
Hi Candice
I tried 50 mg and it was awful. so i took just half (25mg) a day. I have been on 25mg for over a year and feel alot metter ..may be less is more. (Doctors usually try to up your dose) when reducing is the answer. Councillin would help but rarely available.
a good walk each day and 25 mg works for me. I still have my anxiety and self loathing but I cope with it. I can reason with myself which I was not doing this time last year.
