GGT 280 in blood test, all others reading normal

GGT level is 280 much higher than normal level. Other readings all normal.

Wht does this means? How to cure it?

Usually (not always) GGT points to alcohol consumption.

I dont drink & smoke. All other like alt, alp normal. just GGT is high. I seek some doc's opinion, they also not sure wht it meant.

Can be a sign of inflammation... You will have to push your Dr for answers.

Blood work, abdominal ultrasound, abdominal cat scan, and abdominal MRI to name the most common. I would probably ask for more detailed blood work and to start an abdominal ultrasound and go from there.

The range for GGT is 9-48 if I remember correctly. Your GGT is pretty high... I wouldn't let them push me off....
