I was diagnosed in December with ghsv1.. I had had another outbreak since my first.. its been two months since diagnosis and my vagina doesnt feel the same down there.. Im on valtrex daily but i feel so red and swollen and itchy.. i went to gyno yesterday & she gave me stuff for yeast infection but i feel like its apart of ghsv1.. i feel like i will never be normal down there again. Can anyone relate? i havent had sex since because im soooo scared of transmitting it.
So sorry to read this - has the Dr given you some antivirals to take at least?
hey, can you describe your first outbreak? did you get sores, lesions?
does the itch sometime or does it linger 24/7?
I’m expirencing tingling sensations but have never had sores or lesions, and ive tested negative on a 10 panel std test which leads me to believe its maybe a fungal or uti
i feel you..
just had sex with my partner, and it was kind of painful like i had a tissue trauma because of the pain i went throught with my primary outbreak. and i’m being paranoid with my vulva!!
