Have you googled it ?

Hi Shirley

I had a goitre removed in a partial thyroidectomy a few years ago!   It’s a small growth (mostly non-cancerous) in the neck area!   After the removal most people have to go on thyroxin but I didn’t!   However even after the removal, I still have all my symptoms so still having regular blood checks for thyroid function.  My goiter was causing breathing issues because of it’s location so sometimes they are troublesome!   Hope this helps?

Thanks for geting back to me I very worried abo it it's cause a lot of pain on one side of my neck and I am not sleeping that we'll with it thanks shirley
