Has anyone had hair loss with glandular fever/ mononucleosis? I am struggling with hair loss and the specialist do not know why.
Hi Gerbear, I can't remember if I said this in the other thread but i am experiencing more hairloss than usual. I am having to clean out my hairbrush every couple of days. I know hairloss from stress happens so i put it down to that as I've been quite stressed and anxious during this illness.
Sounds like virus has disrupted thyroid and or adrenal function....
Hey Gerbear don't worry. Stay positive if you are loosing your hairs that might be because of that fever. If you feel something more than this go for consultation.

Dermatologist has me using prescription shampoo and daily ointment. I am seeing improvement--have stopped losing hair now. Doctor has assured me that the bald spots will fill in. Sooooo thankful!!!!!
So was it a yeast infection? I got one ' f those on my back from all this....
Not exactly a yeast infection--they are treating my scalp like it is a fungal infection. No one knows if it is mono related or not.
