Glans problem spider blood vessels

Hi,
just over a month ago i developed a small red rash on the glans, looked like little red spots no pain or itch etc, from some research online i decided to use canasten thrush cream 2% clotrimazole. i used this for around 2 weeks very frequently and it got rid of the rash and has not come back since. However i have noticed either side of the glans seems dried out and has very visible small blood vessels - i have no pain or discomfort from it but it looks disgusting.
i visited the sexual health clinic and come back negative this included a swab for thrush which was also not present. The lady said it was just dry skin an recommended to use aqueous cream, but this seemed to cause further irritation. i have also tried just leaving it for some time and hasnt changed.

please can someone help me as this is starting to make me depressed, its been about 3 weeks since i last applied the canasten cream.

someone please help me!

Okay what you can do is simply leave it alone for 3 to 4 weeks and see if it improves. Do you have skin issues anywhere else on your body .... ?

has the skin peeled off from your glans when it was dry? if yes, then it might be because of that those vessels are visible now.

Thank you for reply. It seems the more creams i put on it the worse it looks so i shall try nothing for a few weeks. No other skin issues else where other than the other side of the glans!

Thank you for the reply. Unsure if the skin has peeled off as i was using the canasten cream for 2 weeks, however towards the end either side of the glans felt slightly irritated so i stopped using the cream. Im guessing a mix between the original inflammation and over use of the thrush cream may have caused this to begin with? - i am hoping this clears up as it is constantly on my mind now. Going to try using nothing on it and stop checking it every hour and see if it clears.

Yes, applying nothing enables the skin to get back to where it used to be and should be - however, do note for this to be successful there should be no infections present on the skin. Additionally, avoiding masturbation and sex further helps the healing process

has it improved?

No, hasn't improved. Really starting to get me down now.

u need to visit another doctor. n see what he says

Did the thrush cream also include a steroid cream by any chance? I have seen this posted about a lot across online forums and I am convinced the problem is started by the use of a steroid cream which thins the skin. This is why the original problem (usually fungal irritation ) goes and a whole new problem arises altogether.

Hi, i used canasten external 2% clotrimazole thrush cream- as far as im aware this does not contain steriod?
