Going back to work tomorrow.....12 weeks post op

Well fellow hippies, I am going back to work tomorrow.....  I am starting just part time for the first 2 weeks.  A bit nervous that I may have to proove myself.  It's been quite a journey and I can't say I am 100%....I would say I am about 75% - although I would never admit that to my employer.  The advice I have given to my othe fellow hippies in the past has been "slow and steady wins the race".... I must follow that myself.  I do not want a set-back!!!  Will keep you updated on how it goes!  Wish me luck! Ginny USA NJ

dont try and do too much after work for a while unless a tall dark handsome man offers to wine and dine you of course ! If so ask him if he has a single dad or older brother ha ha !

Hi good luck! Don't over do things! I am 5 weeks post op and a full time carer for my husband! But no where near ready to cope full time yet! Regards Amanda

All the very best on returning to work , I cant wait to get back but Im only 3 & half weeks after surgery ....no idea how im going to manage another 4 wekks off .....unless the weather stays like it is & then I will deffo not want to go back

im sure you will be fine & the school /staff will be delighted

Good luck with going  back to work Im 7 weeks post op today and have another 3 weeks off and then phased return but feel so washed out when done something normal then have to rest up so take it steady phased return is a good thing.

Been to 6 week check at 7 weeks and he's given me the all clear to swim if I want to and will see me in the next 4 months with a view to putting me forward for my other hip.
