So I know I've posted two others discussions about my symptoms. Fatigue, headaches, fast heart rate, feeling dizzy, feeling weird, can't concentrate much, ears plugged, diarrhea, or green soft stool, twitching, spasms, "popping feelings" all over my body, feeling like I'm gonna have a seizure or stroke. (Symptoms have been going on for over a month) Ugh 😞 I'm drained! Yesterday my body all of a sudden out of no where felt EXTREMELY HEAVY, felt like it was taking all the energy out of me to walk or lift up my arms (I panicked) went to the ER and they ran all test on my blood and said everything looked GREAT. They said I have a sinusitis infection, they gave me antibiotics and sent me on my way, she also said my nerves looked great and that I won't have a seizure. If my symptons don't go away they said for me to see my doctor and have him refer me to a neurologist. BUT she said she thinks it all have to do with my sinuses. 😞 I mean I'm like YAY they found something wrong I can get it fixed and I'm also like THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING ELSE. How can a sinusitis infection make me feel this way? Also it scares me because it says a sinusitis infection can turn into meningitis 🙀 I'm so terrified. Btw my body still feels heavy, I don't know why. Anxiety? Worrying? Dehydration? MAN I hate feeling this way. I just want to feel okay already...
you have the classic symptoms of stress and anxiety. Millions of people including myself have had them in most of the time doctors can only prescribe medication to relax. Since they can't actually see the anxiety or symptoms they really can't do much. Are you normally in anxious person?
I really like listening to meditations on YouTube for anxiety. The really calm down my mind body and symptoms. There are many to choose from but a great one to start with is called mindfulness meditation for relaxation. Use ear buds if you have them .
there are many others to choose from I do these a couple times a day especially when going to sleep. You will notice that your symptoms will diminish somewhat. Another one that's important to listen to is called 10 minute breathing meditation.
I have been managing my symptoms for many years and one thing to remember is that any symptoms related to stress and anxiety cannot hurt you. They are scary and weird but that is all they can do.
some of the meditations will teach you how to separate negative thinking from yourself. Negative thinking leads to fear and more stress which leads to more symptoms. You need to calm down the brain in order to relieve the body of symptoms. Feel better soon
I am not a doctor but it all sounds like anxiety. A sinus infection can give you a headache and make your head feel full and lightheaded. The rest sounds like anxiety. I have suffered with anxiety disorder for years. I can tell you this. Keep busy and dont think about it. I play video games when I feel anxious. Or get into a movie or good book. Anything to stop thinking about it. Your mind is very powerful and if you keep dwelling on it the symptoms wont go away. You will be fine. If the hospital released you and did blood work, you are good. I know me telling you this is not easy, but it took me years to say to myself " okay, this is anxiety and I am fine". Hope this helps
Hi Rebekah, i can sympatise with some of your feelings. I have recently been given blood results and told my kidney function is slightly low. I have gone into panic mode and am now haveing headaches, nausea, sleeplesness, diaherrea, light headedness and qching body. I believe it is all down to worrying and my anxiety xxx
