I’ve not been sexually active for nearly a year now but I have had a darker patch on my penis for about 6 months that just seems to go change colour going lighter and darker depending on when i look (pics 1-3). More recently I was out walking the dog and my boxer shorts constantly rubbed in my groin until the skin was broken. I now have two near identical patches in the crease of my groin (pics 4 and 5).
I’ve seen a doctor who has said its down to a fungal infection and i’ve been applying steroid cream for nearly a week now. I’ve been working from home and my job has been stressful but i’m getting back ache, groin ache and some headaches so i’m terrified this may have come from an affair 18 months ago. I’ve got a blood test I ordered online but after reading about all the false positives i’m too scared to get it done can anyone give any advice?
you should atleast get the test done and done again if you need too. only way you will know!
im going through something similar i was negative for yeast and hsv ---- i have the headaches and groin aches/ full body muscle spasm. I was shocked when it came back negativethey think mine is autoimmune . Yout pics dont look like HSV
thanks for the advice, i took a blood test which came back negative. My thoughts are with everyone going through such a traumatic experience.
